Bachata Geneva Festival – The Festival of Nations

Bachata Geneva Festival: The Festival of Nations

The global gathering for bachata enthusiasts

The Bachata Geneva Festival – “The Festival of Nations” has established itself as a major international event dedicated to bachata, bringing together participants from more than 70 countries. For the first time, the festival will take place at Palexpo Geneva from October 8 to 12, 2026, positioning the city as a global hub for Latin dance.

Originating in the Dominican Republic and recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage, bachata is at the heart of these four days of celebration, sharing, and cultural transmission.

The program offers a fully immersive experience: international workshops led by renowned artists, daytime and evening social events featuring international DJs, as well as the World Finals of the Bachata Social World Cup. This prestigious competition brings together the best dancers, selected through qualifying rounds held around the globe.

Open to dancers of all levels—from professionals to enthusiasts—the Bachata Geneva Festival is much more than just a festival: it’s a global gathering, a celebration of cultures, and a highlight for the entire bachata community.
